Upgraded from IT7 to IT9-BIG MISTAKE

I have been successfully using IT7 now for several years with no issues. When I got the notification that IT7 would no longer be supported, I decided to go ahead and upgrade to IT9 at renewal.

Today, I downloaded and installed IT9 because IT7 subscription ends tomorrow. I imported and merged all of my glossaries without any issues. I have tried to use IT9 now for about an hour and I am beyond frustrated with it. I will be working in a document, and IT9 suddenly quits populating the list, acting like it has become unlinked to the document I am working in. The task bar still shows that I am linked to the document, but when I type, the list does not populate or it is stuck showing words that were 30 keystrokes prior.

I need help to get this figured out. It shouldn't be this complicated to use.
