Right-click in the far-right column of the advisory window, where your open glossary is listed, and click on View Hotkey Glossary.
Find the Ctrl+Space hotkey, click on Edit, and change it to whatever you want it to be. I have my "Delete Previous Word" entry set to Ctrl+Backspace.
That's it!
