no, I don't think you misunderstand. The cursor is one space after the word, ie. text a1; I have always used these commands (a1, a2, etc) to add to the glossary but never had a space after the entry previously. My computer crashed and I am having to start over so I am wondering if I am missing something in the command ... or maybe in the settings somewhere.
