Nothing in particular

Nothing had happened. Unless you count a power outage, but I have a surge protector with battery backup and was here when it occurred. Turns out the whole problem solved itself when my computer died suddenly after a very short illness :] and I had to go out and purchase a new one and reinstall everything. Thanks for trying to help though.
