Customizing shorts

I'm a new IT user, still trying to get the hang of using the semicolon instead of the spacebar to expand (there are great advantages, but I find that even a relatively new habit - only used Shorthand for a few weeks - is hard to break).

Anyway, I decided I'd use shorts for those very common words that I might not otherwise bother to abbreviate, or something very common that breaks my typing rhythm. For example, w=with or v=very is 2 strokes instead of 5 (no need for spacebar), and those will be in every dictation, so it adds up.

I put my list at the end of this - thought you'd enjoy seeing it. (I type for family practice docs.) Maybe it will give you an idea or two.
