Quick way to reopen a glossary?

I always have several glossaries open at once, and I add to them on the fly all the time. However, when I add something to a glossary that is NOT the active glossary (but is included), as you know, I have to reopen my (what I call my main) glossary to get the new addition included.

I'm looking for a way to save time in reopening my main glossary. At present, I right-click on the main glossary and then select "Reopen" to accomplish this. I went through the help files and found this:

Glossary Menu

The glossary menu offers all commands to work with glossaries.

It is possible to open the glossary menu with keyboard shortcuts. First, use the shortcut Ctrl+/ to toggle the focus between Instant Text and the linked application. When the focus is on Instant Text, Ctrl+G opens the glossary menu.

You can also combine the two steps and type Ctrl+/G.

I thought that might work, but the Ctrl commands are taking effect in MS Word and not my IT menu.

I'd like to make a suggestion for the next version that we have an option to automatically reopen a glossary every time we select it. :P

Anyway, can you guys help me figure out a way to quickly reopen a glossary so that an item added in an included glossary will take effect right away?
