Hi Carol,

If you are willing to type a short abbreviation after having typed the date without slashes, maybe dd, you could have a simple command that adds the slashes for you, as shown below:

dd {command}{Left 5}/{Right 2}/{Right 3}{NoSpacing}

This way you don't need to create a dedicated dates glossary.

You would just type 102016 dd; and get the desired format.
