Dvorak could be counterproductive
I am not sure about the Dvorak keyboard. It is based on the frequencies of letters in normal English prose. On the other hand, when you type abbreviations, the frequencies are entirely different. For example, you type a lot more consonants thant in normal English. Consequently, the use of Dvorak might be counterproductive. Jean Ichbiah PS. A simple test: Tyoe a page while the IT tape is started and look at what you have typed. You will see very few vowels whereas the letter e alone is 9% in normal prose.
