I'm experiencing a huge typing lag when using Instant Text 7 in Word 2016 (regular, not 365), a problem I did not have in Word 2010. Let's say I have the shortcut 'tpws' set up for 'the patient was seen'...in Word 2010 I'd type 'tpws' and the entire phrase would instantly populate my document. Now when I type 'tpws' I get the phrase coming out letter by letter, painfully slow, as I sit and watch, like 't-h-e- -p-a-t-i-e-n-t- -w-a-s- -s-e-e-n....' and it's going to kill my production if I can't find a solution.
I'm almost positive it's some kind of Word setting because I tried it in Notepad and Instant Text behaves like usual there. I also disabled 'Animate controls and elements inside windows' in Windows 10, which fixed the annoying gliding cursor appearance, but it has not remedied my Instant Text problem.
Any help would be much appreciated!!
