Percent Saved?

Here is an example:

You type 100 keystrokes and get 143 characters.

Keystrokes saved: 43

Percent Saved: 30% -- this is 43/143, that is the Keystrokes Saved over the Characters Obtained.

Productivity Gain: 43% -- 43/100, this is the characters gained (the ones you got without typing them) over the Keystrokes Typed.

Characters per Keystroke: 1.43

So, if the 30% refers to a productivity gain, it is not as good as a 30% saved
