Nesting within text expander

I was wondering if it is possible to nest abbreviations within other longer texts.

For example, I have "tp" as "the patient" so when creating other longer phrases, is it possible to have "tp" in your phrase and it will automatically type out "the patient" or do I have to have "the patient" spelled out in my phrase.

Sample: tpwa = the patient was admitted...could my phrase be "tp was admitted" and it would type out "the patient was admitted".
