See The Importer being a translator, can I keep several language versions of expand dictionaries (the same abbreviation expanding differently for different languages); Yes you can. Instant Text allows multiple glossaries. You can even have them in the same glossary as Instant Text does not require short forms to be unique. will one licence enable me to use it on both a laptop and a desktop; Yes. As long as you are the only person using Instant Text on both machines. how easy is it to synchronise the "expand database" between a laptop and a desktop; You just keep glossaries synchronized between the two. will it expand in applications I choose or only in applications the authors chose (e.g., I use The Bat! for e-mailing - will this expand words with Instant Text for me?). While we haven't tried the Bat! it is likely to work with it. (If not, we'll make it work: see how quickly we added WordPerfect 11.) I did not find any contact link to "answers to pre-purchase questions" on the Instant Text website... so I am asking the questions here.
