SpeechMotion

I'm starting on SpeechMotion, after having used ChartNet for years (both programs are from the same source). I can dock Instant Text to SpeechMotion fine, and the green light is lit on Instant Text, but when I type, nothing from Instant Text. I've checked the usual things (the little arrow, etc), but nothing seems amiss. I tried disabling the built-in ExpandType in SpeechMotion (Chartnet also has it), but it didn't help. Any advice would be appreciated. I've tried all my usual tricks. Thanks.
