I have seen many MTs who continue to use the 800x600 screen resolution with 17" or 19" screens. It this is the case, you are not going to have room for more than three advisory lines.
With a 17" screen, you should set the resolution to 1024x768: On control Panel select Display/Settings and select the 1024x768 resolution in Screen Area.
Perhaps you will find the text a little too small (especially, coming from 800x600). In such a case, click on Advanced, and select "Large Fonts" in font size. You are likely to need this if you are on a 17". Perhaps not on a 19".
