Suspending IT and disabling expansions

To suspend IT for a while I would open a New glossary in the Glossary list, call it Suspend.glo and leave it empty.

Then you can use Ctrl + its number to highlight it, and nothing will expand as long as Suspend is highlighted :)

To disable an individual expansion you can, of course, just do Esc or Shift+Space which cancels the advisories.
