Question about this method

I know this thread is old, but I'm fascinated by it. I'm still learning IT, and have converted my glossaries to ABAB for two-word phrases. I'm finding this not to be ideal. I think that some variation of the a-a??? form would be more suitable for me.

A while back, I converted my glossary to ABAB via the workshop. Since it doesn't convert phrases that will end up as duplicates, my glossary now has a mix of AA and ABAB phrases. If I use the IT workshop to convert to A-A???, it apparently only converts the AA phrases, and not the ABAB phrases. Is there any way around this? A way to have IT convert all my two-word phrases, regardless of the current short forms?
