Okay, then, my top request for your next version of IT is that you add a method to pass IT script entries to Windows Run/cmd.exe in silent mode, and add a 3rd marker key for commands. Do that, and you will have passed Shorthand in a single bound, and I will be auctioning my ActiveWords on eBay, because cmd.exe will not only run Windows built-in commands, it will run WSH scripts plus Visual Basic and Java scripts. If I learn to write stuff as Java scripts, I will even be all ready for your Linux version of IT some day
.For the moment, if one doesn't mind a brief flash of the cmd.exe window, one can pass a saved script using a hotkey call to Word's Go/Address boxes on the Word Web toolbar, but it's not quite as elegant a solution, and it works in Word only. Would it be possible to pass a direct scripted command that way, without calling a prewritten .bat file?
