First of all, it is the Pro version that handles Meditech. This was introduced as part of the recent revision Rev302P.

On your question, IT Pro will do the expansion but I have some doubts about the ability to do line count with Meditech. The IT line count relies on the ability to do the equivalent of Ctrl+A Ctrl+C to select and copy a complete document to the clipboard. I don't think these operations are possible with Meditech (or at most on a page basis).

So with Meditech, Expansions Yes, Line Counts No.
