To get continuations, compile a glossary...
Linda, The one question I have is about the continuations. I cannot find any way to create them. Is this a feature that only appears when glossaries are compiled or is there a way to add them to them the glossary myself? In theory it is possible to add continuations manually but this is quite complicated. The best and simplest way is to compile a glossary from past transcription documents. These are usually rich with continuations. Note also an interesting technique: Say you are using a hand-made or imported glossary and you have the advisory full with its entries. You can merge it with the compiled glossary or "include" the latter. The entries of the compiled glossary will not show in the advisory since we have assumed it was already full. On the other hand, the continuations of the compiled glossary will show! Jean Ichbiah
