Problem with ".glo" changed to ".gl"

Sometimes after I do a glossary compilation, some of the includes glossaries will transfer over with the "o" left off the suffix, e.g., "surgery.gl" and I have to delete all those and re-include them with the full "glo" suffix, which takes quite a bit of time. Do y'all have any idea what I'm doing to get these errors?
