I just started with Webmedx and am using their platform, ChartMatrix. The company recommends Shorthand because it works "best" with their platform, but IT does work. However, IT is giving me a few issues. The biggest issue is usually when I type the period at the end of a sentence. What is happening is that I am typing the period, but it does not show up, yet the cursor has moved as if ready to type the next word in the sentence. This does not happen every time I type a period, either. It's sporadic, but frequent enough to be annoying! If I backspace and type the period, it is fine. But, if I try to type the period again without backspacing, IT backspaces and erases the last letter and then types the period! Since ChartMatrix is a web-based platform, maybe it's not picking up on my keystrokes as fast as Word does. I do not have this problem if I use Shorthand or type without an expander.
I searched and saw a previous post dating back to 2005, but the person who helped the poster sent them an email and did not post their suggestion on the board. If anyone could help, that would be great. I really want to stick with Instant Text!
