Apparently my user account settings got screwed up in what I did yesterday. Anyway, I happened to notice the note at the top of the page about workaround for user account and it works now. Once I read that I remember doing it before, and I remember adjusting my security yesterday as part of the other stuff I was doing, so that must be what happened.
