Backing up/copying glossaries from VPN (WIN XP) to my system (Vista)

QUESTION: HOW TO TRANSFER GLOSSARIES BETWEEN SHARED OPERATING SYSTEMS.

I use Vista, and for work must logon through a VPN (which uses XP).

I have carefully added innumerable additions to my glossaries on XP and would like to switch these over to my personal computer (Vista).

1. There is no A-drive for floppies on my computer.

2. While on the VPN (XP), I am limited in that I cannot access my computer's disk drive (cannot burn disks).

3. I have tried to copy the glossary in XP, then transfer from the VPN (XP) back to my computer (Vista), but then I cannot paste.

4. Can IT glossaries be zipped and e-mailed? If so, how would you do that?

P.S.
Purchased IT several years ago, but have only recently started using it for work. It is amazing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
