Is there a way to modify entry in all glosseries simultaneously?

I recently had to start from scratch with some of my old backup files and I'm finding that almost every old glossary has entries that are no longer acceptable (i.e., q.o.d, diabetes type II, q.h.s., etc.). Short of opening each glossary (I have about 35!!) and deleting them individually is there a way to either delete or modify an entry in multiple glossaries at the same time?
