Glossary entries expanding in all caps

I searched the forum to see if anyone else was having this problem, and found a post from November 2005, which I'll copy and paste because it's exactly the problem I'm having:

I don't know how or why but all of a sudden whenever I type a word in my glossary, it appears in the document in all caps. I don't know what happened or how to turn it off. HELP!

I'm using IT release 5.44, Word 2002 in Weblinc Script, and Windows XP. I've tried exiting IT and restarting it, and reopening the current glossary, neither of which work. Caps lock is not on and I'm not hitting shift or anything like that when I try to expand.

The only thing that works is rebooting the computer. Unfortunately, that is a MAJOR pain due to the way my work is set up (I can't change that). The problem only happens once in awhile, but it is incredibly frustrating and I lose a huge chunk of time when it happens.
