Copying glossary from IT on work computer to my PC

I have a glossary which I created on my company-owned (national MT)work computer IT V.

Now that I have just been hired for a PT job and will be using my PC, I am trying to figure out how to get a hold of my glossary which took three years to make.

I initially had IT III Pro and just received the upgrade today to IT V and have done that. So, officially I am using IT V on my PC and my work computer is also IT V Pro.

I did try to copy glossary (Wendy2.glo) to floppy (3.5") but "not formatted" message came up.

I now wonder if I should put the IT upgrade CD into my work computer and try to copy the glossary onto it.

I hope someone has encountered this situation and can give me a solution as I start my job next week.
