Hello,

To use field codes in Instant Text, you must insert the Ctrl+F9 into the entry using the Command button.

First, highlight your template and press Alt+= to bring up the Add Entry window.

In the Edit Entry window, place your cursor where you want to insert the field code, click on the Command button and press Ctrl+F9 and click OK. Click on the Command button again and press the "end" key and click OK. Repeat these steps to insert the {Ctrl+F9}{end} command for each place in your entry that you would like to insert a field code.

Lastly, at the end of your entry, you would need to include another command to tell IT to go back to the top of your template. Place your cursor at the end of your entry, click Command and press the "pageup" key and click OK. Next, insert a trailing underscore "_" and lastly, click on Command again and press the "backspace" key and click OK. The end of your entry should look like this:
{PageUp}_{Backspace}

Your entry with field codes should now be complete and you should be able to jump to the field codes by pressing the F11 key.

Kind regards,
Kristen
