Backing up your glossaries

IT automatically saves the changes that are made to the glossaries and the glossaries are "stored" in the glossary folder. If you make a change to the actual file, in other words, make a change to the .glo extension, IT will not be able to read it and the ending result would be a "Glossary file is incorrect" error message.

What did you do exactly to save your glossary in the glossary folder?
If you look at your glossary in the Glossary folder, what does it say exactly for an extension? Does it end in .glo or something different?
