Are you using WinXP or Vista?

What version of IT are you using? You can find out by double-clicking on the blue title bar in Instant Text and then go to Help and About Instant Text. There you will see the exact version & built date that you are using.

Make sure you are using the latest release 5.44

Also, does this happen when you try to add an entry to a different glossary or does this only occur with this one particular glossary? If it is just the one glossary, and your link options are established & you have the latest release of IT V Pro, it may be an issue with your glossary. In this case, it would be best to send an email to the tech support department at support@textware.com
