«I have many entries starting with "no..." such as

    "nos" for "not otherwise specified"
    "noc" for "no children,"

Now, when I just want to type the word "no" by itself, it expands into "no children." »

Normally, IT allows you to "abbreviate abbreviations". But if you are using the sapce bar you do NOT want this and you want to avoid these "early birds". To do it, you need additional entries such as

    "no" for "no"

Since it would be tedious to do them one by one, there is a Shorts.glo included in IT, which you should Merge with the glossary resulting from the PRD conversion. (If you have the Pro, you can use Include.) Make sure that Shorts.glo is first in the Merge.

Otherwise, click on ? to go to the online help and select: Customize Instant Text. There are two articles on this subject:

How do I customize to use the space bar
    Tips for PRD+ users

If you encounter any difficulty, just email your glossary and we will do it for you. But try to follow the help, it is quite simple.
