Is IT compatible with Wordscript??

I'm new at IT. I'm sure it's compatible with Wordscript, because it worked at first. When I first installed IT it did work, then all of a sudden it won't work anymore. I can get my advisory lines at the bottom of Wordscript and the green circle is there showing it's linked, but it doesn't do ANYTHING?????? It works just fine in my Word 2003. I have XP, by the way. Also, if I highlight words and Alt + to make an entry, that won't work either now. Any help will be greatly appreciated, my production is suffering.
