Wordscript link

I get my advisory lines, they just don't do anything. When I start typing they just stay blank, no suggestions. I don't have my manual. We moved to FL a couple of years ago and I never could find it. Is it possible to buy another manual?
Yes, I have checed the link options and have checked link automatically - it seems to be linked - the little green circle in left IT corner is on, so doesn't that mean I'm linked?
I may call on phone tomorrow when I'm actually in Wordscript. People keep telling me to just type in regular Word and copy/paste, but that seem's like extra work.
