I've just started using Instant Text and am trying to work my way through the manual. The very first example uses wtit as the short form, and says that the user will note that the phrase Welcome to Instant Text appears with the first two letters, wt, and quickly gets narrowed down to the only phrase once the user has typed wtit.
However, that's not what happens. When I type wt, the phrase comes up. As soon as I type the next letter, i, all phrases disappear and the remaining selection is three words: withholdings, wintertime, and worthwhile. When I type the final t for wtit, all selections are gone.
It's making it kind of hard to work my way through the lesson when IT doesn't actually do what the manual says it will. Thanks in advance for all help!
