Always on Top option may not be the solution

When you choose this option, Instant Text will, indeed, stay always on top with the advisory lines defined either in the IT options or in the Link Options for Word.

So I would recommend to not have it checked.

When you switch back to your transcription with Alt Tab, try to switch back to Instant Text rather than to Word.
