Announcing Instant Text V Pro

I am pleased to announce the forthcoming release of Instant Text V Pro, shipping on June 20th, 2002.

This new version comes after more than two years in development and a full year of beta testing, with more than 30 participants. Now that the new version is public, I am sure that they will share their impressions and tell you about their experience with this new Instant Text vintage.

In the coming days, other pages will be added, covering several major new tools that are bundled with the new IT: A new Importer with powerful capabilities for addresses; the Glossary Workshop, with many tools to maintain and transform glossaries; and The Line Reporter, a report writer for the Instant Text Line Count. Just come back to visit the pages and learn about these other new tools.

As you will, see in the web presentation, the new Instant Text is another major step in improving every facet of the transcription productivity - going beyond faster text entry and making other tasks faster as well.

Price Protection and Upgrading: For purchases of Instant Text Pro III after March 30, you will receive a free upgrade to Instant Text V Pro. Those who purchased it between December 1st 2001, and March 30, 2002 will get the new version for a media & shipping charge of $20. For prior purchases, there will be an upgrade charge which will soon be announced.

A release of Instant Text V Basic(the former "standard" version) will be done later, before the end of the year.
