Reference annotations

Is there any way to make a reference note to correspond with each entry? What I mean is a note that would be for the user but wouldn't show up in the expansion. For example, with drug names you could put a typical dose in annotation or with physician's names put their specialty or affiliate hospital in a note or even with a doctor's "regular" the note could say something to the effect of "Dr. Jones' hysterectomy." There is something like this in the Shorthand program and it's about the only thing I like about that program.
