I backed up and then transferred my work IT files to my home computer. I tried several times opening my glossaries (on home 'puter) but IT would just stall out. I had to end program manually. So, I "go in" to check things out in Note Pad...Everything looked peachy...
Long story short, the .glo ending is missing from all my glossaries. (I seriously have about 60.) What is strange (besides that) is that the only glossaries that have any ending are the ones with .bak. They actually say GLO file when I look at them via My Computer, just w/o the .glo ending. I am miffed. :P
I have renamed some of the glossaries, adding the .glo, and don't have any problems now opening them in IT. Problem is, I am curious as to why that happened and need to rename to 60 glossaries. Is there an easier way? Has anyone had this issue happen? Where did I go wrong?
Prior to wiping my hard drive, I moved some files in and did not have this issue. Oh, I am using the latest IT version. :-)
TIA
