Line reporter options

Hello,

I installed Instant Text on my new computer with Vista.

Be sure to have the User Account Control setting disabled as mentioned in Marianne's post at the top of the forum. Also, be sure you are using the most current revision of IT V Pro. To find out what revision you are using, double-click on the blue title bar in Instant Text and then go to Help and About Instant Text. If you do not see a built date of May 2007, please download the latest revision by going to the link below.

I cannot figure out how to define the reports so that it shows my name and company name etc. My name as the typist and my company etc, does not show up when I click define reports. It only shows the default Blue Ridge and Michelle or ME as the typist. How do I get it right?

To add your name, company, etc, right-click on Phrases and select Document Statistics and then click on the Report Options tab. Next, to add your company name, typist name, etc, click on the Edit button next to the corresponding category, type in your name, and then click on New.

I have wierd dates like 1899 for the year also? Can someone please help me from the point of counting the lines, log and then line reporter?

To change the date range, go to the Define Reports tab located in the Line Reporter. Next, click on "Time Period" to select the time period you want to use (monthly, weekly, etc) and then click Apply & Save.
