I want just the drugs and just the physician names within these glossaries. I do not want to see the word "for," etc.
To stop the singles from appearing in the Word advisory you can go to Options/Singles and set the Single-Letter Abbreviations Lines to 0
There are similarities and differences between the Shorts glossary and the Singles glossary:
Both are activated when opening Instant Text.
The Shorts.glo is activated only when you use the space bar to expand to avoid unwanted expansions as Kristen explained.
The Singles glossary (Medsingl.glo or MedsingleV.glo)is always activated and allows you to get some very frequently typed words (often short words) with just 1 single letter.
As mentioned above you can disable the Singles glossary by setting the Single-Letter Abbreviations Lines to 0
