Can't get it to work!

I can get Instant Text to come up and link to Medrite, but nothing happens with Instant Text when I when I type, everything stays blank. I even tried to run it with word and for a second it worked and then it stopped again. I couldn't figure out how to import my old reports since they're in Medrite, so I am just using the glossaries that come with Instant Text. I checked and all of the glossaries are there, so I have no idea what's going on.
