1. Where are the keyboard shortcuts?
On page 44 of the manual. Every Instant Text V Pro copy comes with a manual. If you are a registered user and lost your manual, you can call Textware Solutions to order a replacement manual.
2. Why is no one on this site sharing their glossaries? I am currently a student and find it very difficult to set up glossaries for the many specialties.
Have you thought of using the Importer to convert vocabulary lists into Instant Text glossaries?
3. I love using Jon Knowles ABCZ glossaries; however, some of the rules can be a bit confusing.
To exchange or use glossaries made by somebody else can be a challenge. The rules for the short forms need to be as simple as possible.
4. When you compile, are the glossaries set up as phrases or individual words or how does that work?
The compilation applies extremely simple rules as indicated in the manual and the on-line help.
5. As a student, I find that it takes so much time to set up your glossaries, ...
Instant Text makes this process faster than any other expander program where you have to enter each and every entry manually and assign a short form. Importing lists and compiling glossaries is the way to go.
Hopefully others will give their point of view. Have you visited the Productivity Talk board? Or our Facebook site?
