What do you mean by "link directly"?

Hi Marianne,

Sorry to sound so dumb, but what do you mean by "link directly"? Do you mean link IT directly with the proprietary software - not using MS Word? And then cut and paste from IT into the system and then format? If so, how would I use electronic spellcheckers, etc.?
