Ok, let me expand on this new version:
Additional Function key shortcuts:
Menu-Menu-D Dodges the advisories to the top or bottom of the display. This moves the advisories in applications that don't "play well" in keeping the cursor position updated, allowing you to see the text under the advisories.
Menu-Menu-L Goes to the Glossary List.
Menu-Menu-W Add All Words.
Menu-Menu-P Add All Phrases.
Add All Words and Add All Phrases allow you to add multiple entries to a glossary at one time. Highlight the list of words or phrases, and use the function-key commands (Menu-Menu-W or Menu-Menu-P) or the Command Bar icon. You'll go to the glossary viewer with the list of words and phrases to be added; you can edit them (remove punctuation, for example) or delete them. Then tapping "ok" adds them to the glossary.
Expansion key now allows using either a semi-colon or colon to expand. (This was called "Semi-colon" in the previous beta, and only allowed semi-colon.
Tap on the "Find Editor" field in the Glossary Viewer to jump to the next entry containing that sequence of letters. This searches both the short form and the expansion, so as you type "know" will first go to "kind of" - the closest entry whose short form begins with "kn". Then tapping the Find Editor (which is displaying "know") jumps to "know of" "know that" "let me know" "acknowledge" and any other glossary entry containing the letters K N O W in sequence. It searches without regard to case or accent, so "cele" finds "celebre".
Added 'help' messages.
A whole slew of minor improvements that contribute to overall intuitive convenience. These are the "little things" that make everyday use easy and effortless.
For example, when you use the 5-way navigator control, the Instant Text menu preselects the current glossary - as you're likely to be showing it to change glossaries.
Another example is when highlighting something and doing an Add Entry; since it's frequently difficult to highlight precisely it's easy to accidentally include spaces before or after the text - so Instant Text Mobile automatically removes them for you!
And of course fixing any problems and adding improvements suggested by you Beta Testers! We are pleased that there were very few problems, and very grateful for your diligence in finding them! And equally grateful for your suggestions on ways to improve Instant Text Mobile. You have helped us make Instant Text Mobile into the World's Best - if I do (so modestly :) say so myself!
