I was accustomed to ME. I had a lengthy favorites list that I depended upon in the left-hand margin of anything I was doing. With ME, I knew how to restore that list of favorites to view, whenever it inexplicably disappeared.
For about two months with my upgraded MSW XP, my "favorites" list remained on the left. But, suddenly, it is nowhere at all. I have rebooted, and have poked numerous buttons. I accept that XP is "different" from ME; for example, I have learned the additional loops I must jump through to move an email into a "new" folder.
For the life of me, though, I can't figure out how to restore my "favorites" list to the left-hand margin. Before, when it was too wide, I "double-arrowed" the intersection and made it smaller. At present, I'm unable to restore the favorites list at all.
