Yes the documents did contain macros

Yes they contained company-designed macros (essential to do my work). I needed to move them to my PC from my laptop in order to perform a line count with Abacus for the entire pay period (Jan 11 - 25) as some of my work was on the laptop (using Word 2007) and the rest of it was on my PC (using Word 2002). The macros are always the same for this company so there is consistency there.

I am wondering if I installed Word 2002 on my PC opting to include "Add-ins." I remember that option in installation. A person can opt not to install Microsft-created add-ins when installing Word.

There might be a conflict between that add-in and the one the company created for Visual Basic.
