I copied the CRSDK32 to a disc and deleted it from my hard drive.

This did not speed up the opening of the documents,but it did stop my Stedman's references from being able to be opened from my tool bar buttons. I,therefore,copied it back to my hard drive and they now work again. Does it help for you to know that I experience the same slow opening problem when I open the documents from a disc that I have backed them up to? The whole process takes about 30 seconds or more, and the top portion of the screen comes up first with all toolbar stuff and then the text in the document comes up.
