Word margins and printer/fax drivers question

I have a doctor who sometimes will have me fax reports to him if he is out of the office and doesn't have access to the internet. I don't have an external fax machine, so I use fax software instaed. I have WinFax Pro 10.0 as well as RKS fax. I am using Word 2003 in the Windows XP home environment.

When I fax reports, the fax driver will "change" the print margins, so the report comes out all wonky, especially if I have inserted a manual page break in it somewhere. I end up spending a lot of time correcting the margins so the fax copy he sees will be the same as it will print on his office printer (did I mention he is very "particular" about things?). Then when I send the reports off to his office, I have to make sure the margins are correct for their printer.

I suspect I am making this much harder than it needs to be. How would one find out what the print driver margins are in the fax software? Is there a simple solution to my problem? Any tips you can offer would be most appreciated.

TIA!
Jill
