I work with a web-based transcription platform that uses Word within the application. I have my Word 2003 open as well in order to make autocomplete entries, access templates, etc. I have been having problems with the transcription platform, and their support team says it is because I need to minimize Word each time I access it while using their platform. Of course, when I toggle (alt-tab) back to Word, it comes up full screen. Does the 'minimize' button do more in Word's application than just minimize the screen? I use Windows XP.
