Yes, you can change the background and text colors for Word and they

will not appear when you transmit your documents. In Vista, after clicking on Personalize/Appearance, click the Open Classic Appearance link at the bottom of the window, then click the Advanced button, then you can click in the Text Window sample and change your background and text colors.
