indenting in word

When numbering, I can't figure out how to get the rest of the paragraph to indent. An example would be:

1. jjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj
I want this sentence to automatically indent under the j.

How do I do that? thank you!
